This is about Mother Nature rising from the turmoil. Note how the mermaid and the moon are off center – representing the imbalance of the universe. The pendulum encompassing the moon is symbolic of time and its passing.
 
Looking closely at her face you’ll note there’s a chalice which represents the blood of Mother Nature as the suffering she has endured from human abuse. She rises above it all into the calm waters.  So in a sense she is being reborn.  While we don’t welcome the pandemic it is embraced by Mother Nature as it gives her an opportunity to heal.  Mother Nature’s healing will be short lived as we are creatures of habit. Our memories are short and we will return to our selfish ways of neglect and abuse leaving Mother Nature to endure us once again.
